LUCCHESE v MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW
Same colours, same desire to win. We are preparing for a sort of Rossonero derby in Serie C, Lucchese v Milan Futuro is scheduled for Monday 30 September at 20:45 CEST. Time to try and recreate the win over SPAL, to try and bag some more precious points: here is the Match Preview.
LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO
This is the second consecutive Monday night in action for the Rossoneri, away once again in a packed out schedule. Including this one, there have been five games since the middle of the month. A few days ago, our season came to life with the first victory, 2-1 over SPAL with goals from Hodzic and Traorè, all important and hopefully a boost for the coming period. The attitude, goals off the bench, the reaction after the equaliser were the highlights. Progress is evident and the positive outcome is the result of hard work and collective growth of Coach Bonera's lads. The aim at the Stadio Porta Elisa will be to go again with energy, putting in tight defensive and effective offensive performance.
LATEST FROM LUCCHESE
Lucchese have started the season well and now sit sixth in the standings on 9 points, level with a number of sides currently in the running for a spot in the playoffs. They just registered a questionable draw against Pianese: 3-1 up but the opposition chased them down to make it 3-3 with only ten men. The Tuscan side are doing well away from home, 2-1 over Ascoli and 3-2 in Ferrara, whilst their home record leaves something to be desired. Gorgone's side, based on a 3-5-2, gets goals but also conceded a lot. Frison is back from suspension, also back are Giacchino and Costantino, one of the main players to keep an eye on along with Quirini.
"They have a lot of quality - Coach Gorgone -, maybe they lack a bit of experience but they have the potential. They keep the ball rolling, it won't be easy to play them".
