LSU jumps to No. 6 in AP Top 25, Wisconsin falls to No. 18
After upsetting Auburn on the road, LSU made a big move in the AP Top 25.
LSU was No. 12 last week, but its last-second 22-21 win over Auburn sparked a jump all the way to No. 6. With the loss, Auburn dropped from No. 7 to No. 9. Another notable drop came from Wisconsin. The Badgers were No. 6 last week but tumbled all the way to No. 18 after being upset at home by BYU. BYU, previously unranked, is No. 25.
Other notable movement included Georgia and Clemson switching spots with Georgia at No. 2 and Clemson at No. 3. Oklahoma State, following an impressive win over Boise State, jumped from No. 24 to No. 15. Boise, No. 17 last week, is now unranked.
Other teams that were unranked last week but are now ranked: No. 22 Texas A&M and No. 23 Boston College. Boston College, which improved to 3-0 with a road win over Wake Forest, is ranked for the first time since 2008.
Washington and Penn State are tied at No. 10 with 947 points apiece.
