Here is a 2024 NFL draft pick-by-pick breakdown for the Los Angeles Rams:

Round 1 (No. 19 overall) — Jared Verse, DE, Florida State: Replacing retired legend Aaron Donald isn’t going to be a one-for-one proposition. But Verse is a nice start given his high motor and effectiveness against both the run and pass. A first-team All-American during both of his seasons with the Seminoles, he registered nine sacks in each − and his bull rush is something to behold. Verse is LA's first Round 1 selection since QB Jared Goff was the No. 1 pick of the 2016 draft. Draft tracker

Round 2 (39, from Giants through Panthers) — Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State: A highly athletic interior disruptor − no, he's not Aaron Donald – Fiske should help fellow rookie and ex-Seminole Jared Verse plug that sizable void on LA's line. Fiske was one of the combine's stars, running a 4.78 40 at 6-4, 292 pounds. He had six sacks in his only season with FSU after transferring from Western Michigan. Draft tracker

Round 3 (83) — Blake Corum, TB, Michigan: A two-time All-American and Wolverines legend with a school record 58 rushing TDs (27 in 2023). He’s not big (5-8, 205) or especially fast (4.53 40 time) for his position but has good vision. He can handle an extensive workload and keep the chains moving and obviously knows how to find pay dirt once in the red zone. Will take some load off RB Kyren Williams, who missed five games in 2023. Round 3 (99, special compensatory selection) — Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami (Fla.): A two-time all-ACC selection, he could compete for LA's free safety job immediately. Kinchens swiped 11 passes over the past two years, turning two into pick-sixes. His play speed is better than his timed speed (4.65). Draft tracker

Round 5 (154) — Brennan Jackson, DE, Washington State: Jackson's relentless motor mirrors that of the Rams' top pick this year, Jared Verse. That effort helped him get 20 career sacks over 44 games with the Cougars. He can get thrown off his base and lacks bend at the position but can become a rotational edge rusher as the Rams replenish the defensive line. Draft tracker

Round 6 (196) — Tyler Davis, DT, Clemson: Davis projects as a high-floor nose tackle with outstanding strength given his size. He may struggle against longer interior blockers on the inside but he at least has the anchor to hold up against the run and bull rush against the pass. He's yet another high-motor guy on the defensive line for Los Angeles. Draft tracker

Round 6 (209, compensatory selection) — Joshua Karty, K, Stanford: More kickers come off the board with Karty here. He's got NFL-level kicking power and would be a likely starter on kickoffs to nullify the return game. He struggled in 2021 but improved to drill 41 of 45 field goals over his final two seasons in Stanford. Los Angeles could have a long-term answer at the position. Draft tracker

Round 6 (213, compensatory selection) — Jordan Whittington, WR, Texas: Whittington projects as a big slot receiver with excellent toughness from his time in Austin. Injuries early on limited his college career but he has decent athleticism to stick on special teams at the very least. He'll need to improve his separation and route running overall to make it with the Rams in a long-term role. Draft tracker

Round 6 (217, compensatory selection) — Beaux Limmer, C, Arkansas: Limmer offers Los Angeles plenty of versatility with starts at guard and center in college. He's not an elite athlete but functional enough to hold up against NFL talent. His football IQ and impact in both run blocking and pass protection make him a strong candidate for center. The Rams may move Steve Avila to center this season and Limmer makes for a more than capable backup. Draft tracker

Round 7 (254, compensatory selection) — KT Leveston, G, Kansas State: The Rams continue building up power on the inside with Leveston. Coaches remarked on his growth and maturity as he became a leader over his final two seasons in Manhattan. He's an effective run blocker already and his pass protection skills are improving.
