Los Angeles Kings Assign Kaleb Lawrence To Ontario From ECHL

The Los Angeles Kings have reassigned forward Kaleb Lawrence from the ECHL's Greenville Swamp Rabbits to the Ontario Reign, it was announced Tuesday.

Drafted by the Kings in the seventh round of the 2022 NHL Draft, Lawrence got into three games with the Swamp Rabbits to start the season, collecting three assists.

A product of Ottawa, Ont., Lawrence turned pro this season after a four year OHL career that saw him suit up for the Owen Sound Attack, Ottawa 67's and the London Knights. In 149 career regular season games, he collected 41 goals and 82 points.

With Lawrence now scheduled to join the Reign, the Kings have clearly liked what they've seen from him to begin the season. Standing at 6-foot-7, Lawrence has the ability to use his size to his advantage and should add to a Reign team hoping to close some ground in the Pacific Division.
