Look: Shaq creates 'broken rim tree' from baskets he's destroyed
With the holiday season upon us, Shaquille O’Neal decided to put his own twist on the traditional Christmas tree.
He posted this photo of his “broken rim tree” to Instagram Saturday:
These are all the backboards I have broken this is the “BROKEN RIM TREE”

The former All-Star big man claims his creation contains the rims from all of the backboards he destroyed over his illustrious 20-year NBA career. As far as documented decimation is concerned, Shaq destroyed a backboard as a rookie with Orlando in 1993, and shattered another in a training session. The rest of the 19 rims that make up his special tree were likely earned in practices and scrimmages.
No word yet if Shaq is looking to become an arborist in his post, post-career career.
