One new London club has registered an interest in a 29-year-old player from Chelsea who is now fully expected to be departing the club this window.

However, he can only leave if he can find a club that he wants to join and of course, Chelsea will now need to agree the fee with any interested club. There is a lot to do on this one now with time vastly running out.

Sources: Chelsea make contact with Liverpool regarding signing one of their players this month!

We are of course talking about Chelsea’s experienced winger Raheem Sterling, who is now heading for the Stamford Bridge exit door after a dramatic and eventful last week for him. It’s going to be a late transfer window saga that I’m sure many will love, and many will hate.

Chelsea are going to be involved in a few potential late window sagas, but there is physically only 24 hours in a day and time is running out fast now.

Crystal Palace now keen on Sterling

Sterling on his way out?

Aston Villa had already been linked, even though Fabrizio Romano has actually played that one down.

But according to The Evening Standard, Crystal Palace are the latest team showing interest in Sterling.

They report that Palace are understood to have expressed their interest in Raheem Sterling. Chelsea are currently collecting information from all the clubs interested in Sterling and will then present them to the player.

This one is now going to have to move fast for it to get done with the clock ticking. I can see Sterling wanting to stay in London.
