Logo of Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes now adorns the Texas Tech football field
Fans who attended games the previous two seasons at Texas Tech’s football stadium saw Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ name when they looked at the ring of honor.
Starting this fall, fans also will see Mahomes’ personal logo at Jones AT&T in Lubbock. It’s part of a new deal among Mahomes, adidas the Tech. The school said it will be releasing co-branded apparel featuring Mahomes’ Gladiator logo, too.
“I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for Texas Tech and I’m proud to have helped bring Red Raider Nation into the three-stripe fam,” Mahomes said in a news release. “Today is just the beginning of an incredible partnership with adidas, so stay tuned for more to come this fall that we’re excited to be working on together!”
Mahomes played at Tech from 2014-16, and his logo will be displayed prominently on the field at Jones AT&T Stadium.
