Liverpool bid for Yilmaz?

Euro 2024 star Baris Yilmaz has confirmed he’s now in England after claims that Liverpool bid £25m to sign him this summer.

Baris Yilmaz is now in London - confirmed in a photo posted to social media. Turkish outlet Ajanssport says that's very relevant, too, as the winger is the subject of interest from the Premier League.

West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur both have eyes on the 24-year-old, for instance. But so do Liverpool.

The suggestion in the report is that the Reds have actually offered £25m for Yilmaz. There's no confirmation, though, of whether that's an official bid or a verbal bid or even just talk of a bid.

Liverpool are ‘well informed’ on Matt O'Riley who exploded at Celtic last season with an incredible 18-goal season.

Journalist Rudy Galetti claims Liverpool are 'well informed' on the situation around Matt O'Riley. The Celtic midfielder is also generating interest from Atalanta and Atletico Madrid - and that's no surprise.

O'Riley enjoyed a remarkable season last time out. He finished with 18 goals in the Scottish Premiership (only two of which were penalties) and somehow still found the time to bag 13 assists.

His 31 total goals and assists were a ridiculous improvement on his 15 the season before. Enough that the English-born midfielder got a callup to the Denmark national team and now has some of Europe's biggest clubs looking at him.

Inacio price-drop

Manchester United completed a deal for Leny Yoro this week and in doing so, may have saved Liverpool £12m.

Manchester United shocked football this week as they signed Leny Yoro from Lille. The centre-back was destined for Real Madrid - so much so that Liverpool essentially gave up on trying to sign him.

United secured one of the most promising teenagers in world football by striking the deal. But it appears it'll also affect moves elsewhere, too.

Correio da Manha reports that United will now drop out of the race for Sporting centre-back Goncalo Inacio, for instance. In doing so, they weaken Sporting's bargaining position as the competition to sign Inacio isn't what it was a weak ago.

They, like others, will have been surprised by the twist with Yoro. No longer are Sporting expected to demand the full £50m release clause for Inacio as a result, and are instead will to bargain at around £38m.

That's good news for any other clubs looking to sign Inacio this summer. Liverpool just happen to be one of them.

Adeyemi open to Dortmund exit

When asked about the prospect of playing for another side, Borussia Dortmund speedster Karim Adeyemi was clear when speaking to Ruhr Nachrichten.

“I’m wearing the Dortmund shirt and I’m very happy to be wearing the Dortmund shirt," said the talented 22-year-old.

However, the Germany international didn't rule out an exit this summer. "There are no guarantees in life,” he said.

Given his age and electric pace, alongside his Bundesliga and Champions League experience, it should come as no surprise that top clubs are looking at Adeyemi.

Teams from the Premier League, plus Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan, are interested in the winger, reports Sky Sport Germany. Liverpool have been linked with the forward.
