‘Liverpool will sweep us away’ – Carlo Ancelotti’s message to Real Madrid squad

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has made clear to the club’s playing and coaching staff alike that a change is required on the training pitch, ahead of their upcoming meeting with Liverpool.

That’s according to Relevo, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest developments at Valdebebas.

Real, of course, are primed to face off with Premier League table-toppers Liverpool in two weeks’ time.

After returning to action on the back of the international break in a La Liga meeting with Leganés, Los Blancos will quickly turn their attentions towards matters on the continent, with a trip to Anfield lying in wait.

And one individual of the opinion that a damaging evening could be in store for the Spanish champions on Merseyside comes in the form of Carlo Ancelotti.

As per a report from Relevo:

‘”Either we raise our level or Liverpool sweep us away” has been heard, as a warning, in the corridors of Valdebebas this week.’

Ancelotti, in turn, has called for a complete reformulation of the physical plan in training sessions, with a view to ramping up fitness levels as quickly as possible.

As much will be kickstarted during the international break, before being carried through the final weeks of November and beyond.
