Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala’s contract runs until 2026, and now top European clubs are interested in the 21-year-old. Moreover, interested sides have received a boost in transfer due to the latest developments regarding contract extension talks.

CaughtOffside recently reported that Liverpool have increased their interest in Musiala, and Manchester City, Real Madrid, and PSG are also monitoring his situation.

Recent reports also suggest that Barcelona are interested in Musiala and consider him a potential signing for 2025.

Bayern Munich’s director, Christoph Freund, has provided an update on the situation, revealing that contract talks with Musiala are still in progress and that the club is eager to extend his stay.

The German side are enthusiastic about keeping him long-term and having him play a crucial role in the team’s future. While Freund is hopeful for a positive outcome, he stressed that there’s no rush to finalize the deal immediately.

Still, the Bundesliga club’s ability to keep Musiala will be challenging as the Sunday Express reports that the young player has turned down Bayern Munich’s latest contract offer.

According to the report, Musiala is seeking around £300,000 a week, and his future with the club is uncertain as of now.

Musiala has been with the first-team squad since 2020, making 167 appearances across all competitions while scoring 45 goals and registering 32 assists.
