According to David Lynch, Liverpool would potentially be persuaded to sell Wataru Endo (31) if higher offers were submitted for the defensive midfielder.

Olympique de Marseille are one of many clubs interested in the Japanese international and have had an opening €14m offer rejected by the Anfield club, as reported by The Athletic.  Although, Liverpool rebuffed the opening approach from Marseille this doesn’t mean that they are unwilling to a potential sale.

The Reds would be open to selling Endo if they received higher offers than the first bid they received from OM, Lynch reports. Les Olympiens are not the only club showing an interest in the Japan captain with clubs in Germany also monitoring the situation.

Liverpool signed Endo from Vfb Stuttgart in 2023 for a fee in the region of €20m. The former Stuttgart midfielder played a key part in Jürgen Klopp’s final season at Anfield as the Premier League club eventually lifted the Carabao Cup and qualified for the Champions League.
