Liverpool-Man Utd will go ahead following safety concerns
The Premier League clash between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield will go ahead as planned despite concerns about a postponement.
It comes after heavy snowfall in the area overnight resulted in concerns over fan safety getting to, from and around the stadium.
As a result, lengthy inspections and discussions took place with Liverpool City Council's Ground Safety Advisory Group and following two safety meetings at the stadium on Sunday morning, the green light was given to the fixture.
