Liverpool are among a number of clubs to have been informed of the potential availability of French winger Kingsley Coman this summer transfer window.

As Bayern Munich prepare for the arrival of Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, the 28-year-old Frenchman, who has amassed 11 league titles during his trophy-laden career, now faces an uncertain future at the German club.

Coman, a pivotal figure in Bayern's Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain four years ago, saw his role diminish under Thomas Tuchel last season as he started only 15 Bundesliga matches, with injuries further limiting his appearances.

Now, Bayern's pursuit of Olise, plus efforts to tie Leroy Sane down to a new contact and the rise of Jamal Musiala, have pushed the 28-year-old Frenchman further down the pecking order.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea on alert

According to HITC, intermediaries representing the Bavarian giants have contacted several Premier League clubs, thought to be Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, about Coman's potential transfer.

Bayern's interest in offloading Coman has also caught the attention of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, although neither club is likely to be able to pursue the player this summer.

The Germans, now managed by Vincent Kompany, might also consider offers from the Saudi Pro League, where clubs are reportedly willing to meet Coman’s £50 million valuation. However, it remains uncertain whether Coman would be interested in leaving European football at this stage of his career.

A history of injury problems

However, despite his injury history, including missing 21 games last season and previously considering retirement at 22, Coman remains highly regarded and is currently in Germany as part of France's squad for Euro 2024.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus winger, who can play on either side of the attack, has scored 63 goals and provided 66 assists in nearly a decade at Bayern.

Now, as a plethora of elite clubs consider their summer transfer options, Coman’s availability presents an intriguing prospect. Whether any of these clubs will be willing to invest in a player with his injury history remains to be seen.

For now, the serial league winner’s future hangs in the balance as Bayern Munich's squad reshaping continues.
