Liverpool 2-2 Man Utd - the fans' verdict
We asked for your thoughts after Sunday's Premier League game between Liverpool and Manchester United.
Here are some of your comments:
Barry: A great game that was not expected. United have been awful and the forecasts were a thrashing. The way we played was beyond expectations. Then, as the game went on, the forecasts went to we are bossing this match. Overall, I thought we deserved to win this game and could have done with the last kick. It was a pity we didn't finish with three points, but anyone blaming Harry Maguire should think back on his recent past and credit him with his response. It's a shame but he is not a centre-forward.
KB: Energetic with glimpses of class - a good performance from United. It shows just how important Bruno Fernandes is to this team. The best story of all is that Maguire is back - couldn't have written that one! I'm so pleased for him.
Julie: A real, proper derby battle. It's so good to see a glimpse of what we know our team can produce. Let's hope it is the start of a fresh period for Man Utd. The players have proved that they have class, they just need to show it consistently.
David: At last, the real Manchester United stepped forward. Will we now finally keep it going? I wish I was feeling more confident about the answer being yes!
Mike: Even if the results haven't been there, United finally have a clear identity for the first time since Jose Mourinho. If they stick to the philosophy, eventually the results will come.
Mark: Amazing what a full week on the training field can do. A decent performance and hopefully something to build on. It was great to hear the away fans singing Joshua Zirkzee's name too when he came on. The fans need to stop moaning and get behind the team.
