In more fallout from last night's game, the French Football Federation have quelled speculation surrounding Didier Deschamps, revealing that he will remain in charge beyond this summer.
“Deschamps has a contract and he’s achieved the sporting objective that was set for him. Didier will continue his mission”, Diallo told L’Équipé.
The French boss is under contract until 2026.

Kylian Mbappé didn't enjoy a good EURO 2024, as he himself admitted after defeat to Spain last night.
But his future was already decided ahead of the tournament, with the French star joining Real Madrid as a free agent from PSG.
And now, he has been handed the prestigious number seven shirt at the Santiago Bernabeu, one previously worn by his idol Cristiano Ronaldo and the legendary Alfredo Di Stéfano.

These two sides don't meet too often at major tournaments. Until recently, that was because England were rarely spotted past the last eight.
More recently, it is the Dutch that have struggled. They failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup and were knocked out at the quarter final of the 2022 edition.
It is a similar story at the EUROs. They missed out on the 2016 tournament, before exiting at the round of 16 at the last tournament.
The last time they met at a major tournament, an England side including Gareth Southgate thrashed the Netherlands 4-1 all the way back in EURO 96.
