There are another four matches on Wednesday with knockout places to be decided in Groups E and F of EURO 2024.

Here's what went down.

Georgia stun Portugal to progress

Scorer: Kvaratskhelia 2', Mikautadze (PEN) 57'

Georgia pulled off one of EURO 2024's biggest results with a 2-0 win over Portugal.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring after just 93 seconds in Gelsenkirchen by firing across Diogo Costa.

Cristiano Ronaldo attempted to deliver a response with a swerving 30-yard free kick that Giorgi Mamardashvili kept out well.

Lasha Dvali thwarted the Portugal captain early in the second half when his shot inside the penalty area was deflected off target.

Kvaratskhelia spurned a gilt-edged chance to double his tally minutes later by mishitting his shot from close range.

But Georgia were handed a fresh boost when Antonio Silva was adjudged to have kicked Luca Lochoshvili in the area.

Georges Mikautadze converted from the spot with an effort which squirmed past Costa, who guessed the correct side.

A fresh breakaway almost dealt a hammer blow to the Seleção but Giorgi Chakvetadze's shot flew over the crossbar.

Mikautadze went close to doubling his tally with a surging run before firing into the side-netting of Costa's righthand side.

Portugal finished Group F as winners sealed a meeting with Slovenia in the Round of 16 while their victors will face off against Spain.

Türkiye deliver late Czech heartache

Scorers: Souček 66; Çalhanoğlu 51', Tosun 90+4'

Sent off: Barák

Ten-man Czech Republic bowed out of the group stage after a 2-1 defeat to Türkiye.

Robin Hranáč spurned an early chance when he headed over from close-range after Tomáš Souček helped on Vladimir Coufal's long throw.

Things went from bad to worse for the Czechs as Antonín Barák was sent off for picking up consecutive yellow cards inside nine first-half minutes.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu broke the deadlock early in the second half by firing a low swerving shot beyond Jindřich Staněk.

Souček drew his country level with a reactionary strike after Mert Günok fumbled the ball under pressure from Tomáš Chorý.

But Türkiye snatched the spoils in the fourth minute of added time as substitute Cenk Tosun pounced

Vincenzo Montella's side finished second in Group F behind Portugal to earn a showdown with Austria in the last-16.

Slovakia 1-1 Romania

Scorers: Duda 24'; Marin 37' (PEN)

A 1-1 draw was enough for both Slovakia and Romania to advance through to the EURO 2024 knockout stages.

Slovakia had the best of the early chances from corners, but it was Romania who went closest as Andrei Rațiu unleashed a shot that was well saved by Martin Dúbravka.

Romania were struggling to deal with crosses, and that cost them when a pinpoint cross from Juraj Kucka was headed home perfectly by Ondrej Duda right into the bottom corner.

Just as Slovakia were in the ascendancy, Romania were awarded a penalty after a VAR check for a foul on Ianis Hagi, and the spot-kick was converted by Răzvan Marin when he blasted the ball into the top corner.

As torrential rain came pouring down in Frankfurt, Slovakia's Lukáš Haraslín bent a shot just wide of the post. The ball was skidding around on the wet surface, and Dúbravka had to slide across his box to collect a through-ball from Radu Drăgușin.

Knowing that a point was enough for both sides to advance, this match dwindled into a tame affair as the match finished all square.

Ukraine 0-0 Belgium

Despite a brave effort, Ukraine were eliminated from EURO 2024 after a goalless draw with Belgium.

As the match began, Kevin de Bruyne played a through ball into Romelu Lukaku in the opening minutes, but the striker could only fire a tame shot at the goalkeeper.

Ukraine hit back, and striker Roman Yaremchuk had a shot saved by Koen Casteels before Artem Dovbyk blasted wide of the target shortly afterwards.

De Bruyne then had a chance from a free-kick just outside the box, surprising everyone by shooting near post, but could only hit the side netting.

Yet Ukraine were looking dangerous going forward, and a ball squared right across the face of goal was just out of reach for what would've been a  Dovbyk tap-in.

Into the second half and Jérémy Doku flashed a ball across the six-yard box with an unmarked Lukaku screaming to be picked out.

With time ticking on and the scores still deadlocked, Belgium's Yannick Carasco lashed a shot towards Anatoliy Trubin, but the stopper was able to gather. Ukraine went straight down the other end and if it wasn't for some tough defending from Wout Faes, Belgium could've found themselves in trouble.

In what would've been an incredible moment Ruslan Malinovskyi almost scored straight from a corner, with Casteels just about managing to scoop the audacious shot away on the goal line.

As the game finished goalless, Ukraine became the first side ever to be eliminated from the European Championship with four points.
