Line Combinations: Jets vs. Avalanche

The 28-12-3 Winnipeg Jets are set to do battle with the 26-16-1 Colorado Avalanche from Canada Life Centre on Saturday evening.

The Jets are coming off a disappointing 2-1 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night, a setback that saw Winnipeg fall to 1-1-2 to start its season-high, eight-game homestand.

Colorado is 8-1-1 in its last 10 games and firing on all cylinders. Saturday should be a serious test for a Jets team looking to stay relevant following a record-setting start to the 2024-25 season.

The only player listed as questionable from Winnipeg's lineup on Friday night is Vlad Namestnikov, who hurt himself blocking a shot against the Kings.

He is not expected to dress on Saturday, while recently recalled Manitoba Moose captain Dominic Toninato will make his season debut.

Connor Hellebuyck will return to the crease on Saturday in search of career win No. 301.
