Having lost to Toronto after opening the year with eight-straight wins, the Jets have bounced back with seven more wins in a row, bringing their unheralded total to 15 victories in 16 games played.
Reigning Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck will get the night off in preparation for an elongated home-and-home with the Florida Panthers this coming Saturday and Tuesday.
Eric Comrie will be tasked with shutting down Nikita Kucherov and company on Thursday in his fourth start of the season (3-0-0).

Andrei Vasilevskiy will hold down the fort opposite him in the Lightning end.
No other lineup changes are expected for Winnipeg, which saw Haydn Fleury return to the fold on Tuesday after the announcement of a Logan Stanley 'mid-body' injury. He will once again skate with the veteran Colin Miller on the Jets' third defensive pairing.
