Lille prioritise move for Liverpool and Chelsea target Anis Hadj Moussa
As per L’Équipe, Lille OSC are prioritising a move for Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa (22), however, according to Foot Mercato, they may face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea.
Lille are looking to recruit a winger this month. There is an element of succession planning with Edon Zhegrova expected to depart in the summer. However, Algeria international Hadj Moussa could also be a short-term replacement with Zhegrova currently out injured with a pubis issue, expected to sideline him for around six weeks.
With LOSC looking to push on in the UEFA Champions League, as well as secure a top four finish in Ligue 1, they are prioritising signing a winger and Hadj Moussa is the No.1 target. L’Équipe also evoked the possibility of a medical for the winger soon, however, that has been contested by Foot Mercato, who nonetheless added that the Algerian does want to join Les Dogues.
There is not yet any agreement between Lille and Feyenoord, whilst Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested in the player and could join the race to secure his signature.
