Lightning's Jake Guentzel still considered day-to-day with upper body injury
Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said that Jake Guentzel remains day-to-day with an upper body injury after leaving early in the third period on Saturday night against the New York Rangers.
Just 24-hours later, Guentzel missed his first game of the season in a 5-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. He was a participant in Tuesday's practice, but remained in a red no-contact jersey. The Lightning will hit the road on Wednesday morning to prepare for their matchup against the San Jose sharks on Thursday.

"The game's not for a couple more days. There's been improvements since a couple games ago, so hopefully that continues and see what happens."
Guentzel has 20 goals and 37 points through 33 games this season.
