Lightning visit the Chicago Blackhawks
The Tampa Bay Lightning will play the Chicago Blackhawks twice in the next five days, starting on Friday night in Chicago. The Lightning are 0-2 so far on their road-trip and would love nothing more than to grab two points.
Jon Cooper shuffled up the lines for Thursday's practice, moving Anthony Cirelli and Brandon Hagel to the top line with Nikita Kucherov. Mikey Eyssimont was moved to the second line with Jake Guentzel and Brayden Point.
With games happening almost every other night this month, the Lightning had two consecutive days off this week. The month of January is coming to a close but before it ends, they have one more set of back-to-back games this weekend in Chicago and divisional matchup in Detroit.
The Blackhawks are coming off 4-3 loss in overtime against the Carolina Hurricanes Monday night.
