Point, 28, has appeared in 37 games this season with the Lightning, where he has 25 goals, 47 points, and a plus-5 rating. Overall, it has been another great offensive season for the 2014 third-round pick thus far.
With Point being one of the Lightning's best players, they will undoubtedly miss him in this big matchup against the Bruins. However, it is also understandable that he is being sat after missing a meeting.
Update: Brayden Point will not play tonight due to missing a team meeting.
