Lightning Superstar Ruled Out For Jets Matchup

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without one of their top players against the Winnipeg Jets. While speaking to reporters, including Gabby Shirley, Lightning head coach Jon Cooper shared that Brayden Point will not be in the lineup.

There was hope that Point would be given the green light to play against the Jets. However, he is still not fully healthy, and the Lightning will once again be without their star because of it.

Point was injured during the Lightning's contest Nov. 3 contest against the Jets and has not played since. Over that span, the Lightning have gone 0-2-1.

The Lightning will now look to secure a big win against the Jets without Point from here.
