Lightning Superstar Ruled Out For Canadiens Matchup
Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper has announced that star forward Jake Guentzel will not be in the lineup against the Montreal Canadiens due to a day-to-day injury.

This is a tough blow for the Lightning, as Guentzel is one of their best forwards. The 30-year-old winger currently has 20 goals, 37 points, and a plus-10 rating in 33 games. This includes 11 goals and 16 points over his last 11 contests.
While it certainly stings that Guentzel will be out of the lineup for the Lightning, Mikey Eyssimont will return to game action against the Habs.
Jon Cooper says Guentzel is out tonight and is considered day to day.
