Lightning Superstar Continues Excellent Hot Streak

Many wondered during Tampa Bay's past off-season who would rise to the occasion after the dynamic within the Lightning locker room changed. Brayden Point has proven that he can surely do just that during this recent stretch of games, as he has played some of the best hockey of his career.

The Lightning have already hit their peaks and valleys since the beginning of November. The Bolts have gone 9-7-2 while holding steady in the Atlantic Division. Point has helped the Lightning weather the shaky waters by putting up an impressive offensive performance. Point has tallied 14 goals and 25 points during the 14-game stretch, bringing up his season totals to 20 goals and 36 points. The 28-year-old forward also put together six multi-point games during that span.

The Lightning will look to the Calgary native for more of his elite level of play as the remaining games for 2024 come to a close. The Lightning have six games left on the docket before they break for a short New Year's break, two of which will see them match up against their in-state rivals, the Florida Panthers.
