Lightning Star Hits Big Milestone Against Bruins

However, while McDonagh is known for his reliability, he also has the ability to chip in offensively from time to time. His latest career milestone undoubtedly presents this.

After recording an assist on Brandon Hagel's second-period goal against the Boston Bruins on Jan. 9, McDonagh has officially hit the 400-point mark in his career. It took the 35-year-old defender 967 games to achieve this.

McDonagh also recorded his 401st career point shortly after, as he picked up another assist on Mikey Eyssimont's second-period goal against Boston.
