Lightning Prospect Recalled from Syracuse Crunch
The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled defenseman Declan Carlile from the Syracuse Crunch ahead of their matchup on Tuesday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Carlile made his Bolts season debut on Saturday in Seattle, logging 11:10 of ice time, blocking two shots and scoring his first career NHL goal.
The Lightning were without captain, Victor Hedman and J.J. Moser in Seattle, as both players have been battling injuries. Moser was place on Injured Reserve ahead of puck drop.
Head Coach Jon Cooper confirmed Hedman could return to the lineup against Columbus, while J.J. Moser is listed as "week to week".
Carlile has skated in 21 games with Syracuse this season, scoring one goal with three points total. He was originally signed by Tampa Bay as a free agent on March 16, 2022.
