This game is a significant one for the Bolts, as it presents a massive opportunity for them.
At this point of the season, the Lightning trail the Bruins by one point for third in the Atlantic Division. A win in regulation tonight would allow the Lightning to pass the Bruins and take over the third-place spot in the division. A regulation loss, on the other hand, would make the Lightning three points behind the Bruins.

The Lightning have five games in hand on the Bruins, so passing them in the standings would be huge. We must wait and see if the Bolts do just that from here. The Bruins are entering this contest with five straight losses, so the Lightning will aim to take advantage of their struggles.
