The latest update on Kevin Danso involves the Austrian defender yet to be reintegrated with the rest of the Lens squad.

Following his return to the Italian capital due to his failed medical, Danso was ruled out of international duty as Lens are set to carry out additional tests to see whether the anomaly that resurfaced during the medical visit with Roma is still there.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Lens were initially considering filing a lawsuit against Roma.

Danso had been purchased for 25 million from Lens but reported an anomaly during the medical examinations in Rome.

Once Lens learned of the problem, they issued a harsh statement ordering the player to return to France and cancel any additional tests in the Italian capital.

Now, however, Austria’s decision to exclude him from Rangnick’s squad list and confirm a new round of tests could help Roma and save them from litigation.
