Leicester City have completed the signing of French youth international winger Shana Chossenotte on a three-year deal.

The 19-year-old joins Leicester City from French Arkema Première Ligue club Stade de Reims where she previously played for new Foxes boss Amandine Miquel. The East Midlands club have paid an undisclosed fee to secure the player’s services.

Chossenotte has spent the last three years playing in the French top flight with Stade de Reims. She has made 37 league appearances for the club in which she has scored six goals.

On the international stage, Chossenotte has represented France at various youth levels. She recently made the step up into the Under-20 squad.

After joining Leicester City, Chossenotte said “I am very happy to have signed for Leicester and I can’t wait to get started on the pitch with the team.

“It’s always been an aim to play in this league as it is one of the best. I’m sure it’s a dream for every professional footballer to play in this league. Leicester seemed right for me, because I can relate to their project and the work they’re doing here.”

Chossenotte is Leicester City’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
