Leeds 0-1 Arsenal LIVE! Premier League result, match stream, latest reaction and updates today

Leeds vs Arsenal LIVE!

Arsenal handed Leeds their first home loss of the season with a frantic 1-0 victory at Elland Road to remain top of the standings following their best ever start to a Premier League season. In a match that was suspended for 38 minutes shortly after kickoff due to a power cut at the stadium, Arsenal were under intense pressure from an energetic Leeds side who pressed hard in a frenetic first half.

Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for Arsenal against the run of play in the 35th minute when he latched on to Martin Odegaard’s through-ball to smash his shot over keeper Illan Meslier’s head from a narrow angle. Leeds had an opportunity when William Saliba handled the ball in the box, with VAR asking referee Chris Kavanagh to take a second look before a penalty was awarded, but Patrick Bamford’s strike went wide to give Arsenal a huge let-off.

Leeds were awarded another penalty when Kavanagh sent off Gabriel in added time for kicking out at Bamford, but a VAR check revealed the striker had pushed him to the ground first and the referee reversed the decision.

Arsenal do it the ugly way

17:55 , Matt Verri

You need luck to be successful and Arsenal enjoyed more than their fair share of good fortunate in an eventful 1-0 win over Leeds.

This would surely have been a game Mikel Arteta’s side would have lost last season and another battling victory, sealed by Bukayo Saka’s first-half strike, was further evidence of Arsenal’s new steeliness and resolve. This table-topping side is made of sterner stuff now.

As much as anything else, though, the visitors benefitted from the bounce of the ball and, on another day Patrick Bamford alone would have scored three in the second half.

They say it is better to be lucky than good, and in-form sides often seem to find a way to win, as Arsenal did at Elland Road.

Arteta’s post-match thoughts

17:31 , Matt Verri

“Hectic! It is always really intense here, we were exceptional in the first half and should have been two or three up.

“Credit to Leeds in the second half, we made so many errors and did not generate momentum but I just love the relentless passion the team played with and how we found a way to win.

“This is something special. This is not a coincidence it shows the willingness that I see in the eyes of the players to win, to compete.

“A lot of players played in Norway two and a half days ago, travelled back on Friday and were still willing to win so credit to them.”

What it means

17:12 , Matt Verri

So Arsenal now sit four points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Manchester City currently playing Liverpool, with it goalless five minutes before half-time. If it finishes like that, Arteta’s side will be three points clear of City.

Should Guardiola’s side get the job done, they’ll close to within a point.

Could it happen...

Mikel Arteta punches the air after another big win extends Arsenal’s lead at the top but boy his side had to ride their luck this afternoon. Patrick Bamford alone missed a penalty, had a goal ruled out and squandered too one-on-ones.

FT: Leeds 0-1 Arsenal

16:37 , Matt Verri

Mikel Arteta’s side have held on!

Truly extraordinary match, Arsenal so, so fortunate to get the three points but they won’t care one bit.

16:35 , Matt Verri

90+9 mins: This match is never going to end.

Arsenal thumping the ball away at every opportunity, Leeds sending it long themselves into the box.

NO PENALTY!

16:32 , Matt Verri

Arsenal survive - a free-kick is given to the Gunners!

Elland Road absolutely furious. And now the red card has been overturned! Now that is incredibly fortunate.

16:31 , Matt Verri

This is absolute chaos. Referee now over to look at the monitor.

Question is whether Bamford fouled Gabriel, before the kick out from the Arsenal man. Red card will surely stand, it’s just whether Gabriel was fouled first.

If he was, no penalty.

PENALTY LEEDS!

16:29 , Matt Verri

90+2 mins: What has happened here!

Gabriel has kicked out at Bamford while he’s on the floor, so unnecessary. And it’s a red card!

EVEN MORE IMPORTANT - A PENALTY!

16:27 , Matt Verri

90 mins: Six minutes added on!

Elland Road loves that - Arsenal do not.

16:25 , Matt Verri

88 mins: Gabriel does well there, under pressure from Bamford and he nods the ball back to his goalkeeper.

Martinelli goes down with cramp - sympathy from the Leeds fans is not in huge supply.

Hosts are quickly back on the attack though, brilliant move and Summerville blazes over the bar! How many chances are they going to waste.

16:22 , Matt Verri

85 mins: Cooper concedes a corner, to say Vieira is not in a rush to take this would be an understatement.

Comes to nothing, but it does the job in ticking away a few more vital seconds.

16:19 , Matt Verri

82 mins: Jesus and Saka off, Holding and Nketiah on.

Those are not attacking changes! Arsenal move to a back five as they do whatever needs to be done to see this out.

16:16 , Matt Verri

79 mins: Arteta almost on the pitch as he screams instructions at his places, Leeds players almost being tackled on the left wing by the Arsenal boss.

Big header from Saliba in the box, that’s hurt Aaronson who slowly gets back to his feet.

16:13 , Matt Verri

76 mins: White off, Tierney on. Tomiyasu switches over to right-back for the final 15 minutes or so.

If Arsenal get through this, it will be a massive three points. It’s a huge ‘if’ though - Aaronson with a strike from distance and it’s turned behind by Ramsdale.

16:10 , Matt Verri

73 mins: Odegaard off, Vieira on. He’ll have to settle into the pace of this match quickly.

Arsenal with a rare attack, Martinelli crowded out of it though on the left and Adams hacks the ball away.

16:07 , Matt Verri

71 mins: Saliba looking as shaky as he ever has in an Arsenal shirt, Bamford gets in behind him and thinks he’s been pulled back. Luckily for Arsenal the referee waves away his appeals.

The Gunners cannot keep the ball, pressure is just constant.

16:05 , Matt Verri

69 mins: Arsenal with everyone on the edge of their own box, trying to ride out this tough spell.

Bamford on the edge of the box, just too many bodies in the way though and he drags back Saliba.

Dan Kilpatrick at the Elland Road

16:03 , Matt Verri

You need luck to be successful and Arsenal are having their fair share this afternoon. From Rodrigo’s gift for their goal to Bamford’s penalty miss, Arsenal are getting away with it at Elland Road.

16:03 , Matt Verri

66 mins: Arsenal are hanging on for dear life, they can’t get out.

Aaronson plays a low cross into the box, Sinisterra’s strike is blocked by Gabriel when he looked certain to score.

BAMFORD MISSES!

16:01 , Matt Verri

WOW.

He was made to wait, Arsenal players starting a bit of a shoving match to delay things.

Bamford drags it wide, Ramsdale went the right way but he wasn’t called upon.

PENALTY LEEDS!

15:58 , Matt Verri

The referee halts play, he’s going over to the monitor. This is surely going to be given now.

Definitely hit Saliba’s arm, which was slightly outstretched. Referee runs back on, decision is... a penalty!

15:57 , Matt Verri

60 mins: Massive appeals for handball from Leeds, cross came in and the ball bobbled around. Did it hit Saliba’s hand? Looks like it might have.

Sinisterra is too busy appealing to turn it in at the back post. VAR will look at this as play continues.

15:55 , Matt Verri

58 mins: Outrage in the stands as Harrison is penalised for a shove on Tomiyasu, who would have been in otherwise.

Not sure he can have too many complaints about that, but it’s not stopping him from trying.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

15:53 , Matt Verri

Saliba has been faultless on the ball until that careless touch allowed Bamford in. The half-time sub has made a huge difference and is causing Arsenal no end of problems.

15:50 , Matt Verri

54 mins: Bamford denied again!

This time he can’t find the back of the net, Ramsdale flies off his line and smothers the shot after Saliba got caught on it.

Goalkeeper then throws himself on the ball as it comes back to Bamford, brilliant from the Englishman.

15:49 , Matt Verri

52 mins: Martinelli so direct when he picks up the ball, charges down the length of the left wing and wins a throw-in by the corner flag. Smirk from the Brazilian too as he’s given a shove that almost puts him into the Leeds fans.

Odegaard gets a strike away, hits Koch. Handball appeals waved away, corner.

15:46 , Matt Verri

50 mins: Arsenal under real pressure, Leeds win a corner and it’s another huge roar from their fans.

Swung in right on top of Ramsdale, he punches it away and Saka completes the job. Good goalkeeping.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

15:45 , Matt Verri

What an impact that nearly was for Patrick Bamford, who had the ball in the net 30 seconds after his introduction at half-time.

The goal was disallowed for a shove on Gabriel - soft but fair - but it’s lifted the crowd and perhaps set the tone for the second half.

15:44 , Matt Verri

46 mins: Almost the perfect start for Leeds!

Bamford has the ball in the net 30 seconds after coming on, but the whistle has gone. Did he foul Gabriel? Looked like a bit of a shove.

And VAR agrees. No goal.

Back underway!

15:42 , Matt Verri

Up and running again at Elland Road.

Bamford is on for Leeds at the break, pressure is only going to increase on that Arsenal defence.

15:36 , Matt Verri

Arsenal had 65% of possession in that first half, Saliba and Gabriel seeing plenty of the ball.

But Leeds still managed more shots, eight to Arsenal’s seven, and will feel they had the better of it for most of the half.

Gunners certainly not at their best but they were ruthless when the chance came.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

15:29 , Matt Verri

Leeds have shaded an entertaining game but Arsenal are ahead thanks to Saka’s finish. The goal silenced the crowd somewhat, which suits Arteta’s side, but the hosts have been lively and carried a threat going forward.

This game -- which is 40 minutes behind schedule following a power cut -- isn’t done yet.

HT: Leeds 0-1 Arsenal

15:27 , Matt Verri

And that is half-time, nearly 90 minutes after the match started.

Arsenal in front through Saka’s goal, after an awful error from Rodrigo. Apart from that, Leeds will be pretty happy with how it’s gone.

(AFP via Getty Images)

15:25 , Matt Verri

45 mins: Poor effort from Harrison, can’t keep it down and that might be that for the half.

Arsenal just looking to see this through to the break now.

15:23 , Matt Verri

42 mins: Arsenal play their way out of trouble nicely, right in front of the away fans who cheer every pass.

But that’s then loose from Martinelli, met with even greater cheers from the Leeds faithful.

15:20 , Matt Verri

40 mins: Struijk does really well to stop Saka skipping past him, and then draws the foul from the Arsenal man.

Leeds have bee impressive on the whole but that goal is a real blow to them, especially the manner of it.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

15:18 , Matt Verri

What was Rodrigo thinking? The Leeds forward has gifted Arsenal a lead against the run of play with one of the most ridiculous passes of the season.

Credit to Saka and Odegaard for neat work to capitalise on the mistake.

15:17 , Matt Verri

37 mins: Away fans in fine voice now, as their side take the lead.

If it stays like this, Arsenal will be going four points clear at the top of the table. Long, long way to go though!

GOAL! Leeds 0-1 Arsenal | Bukayo Saka 35'

15:15 , Matt Verri

WHAT A FINISH!

Awful pass from Rodrigo and Arsenal pounce, as Odegaard drives at the defence.

Slides a ball through to Saka, such a tight angle but he somehow lifts it past Meslier and into the top corner.

15:12 , Matt Verri

32 mins: Meslier spending most of his time just booting the post to try and get the attention of his wall. Not sure how they can’t hear him.

It’s a bit further out than it first looked, 30 yards at least. Xhaka to go for full power?

No, Odegaard looks to place it. Easiest of saves for Meslier.

15:10 , Matt Verri

30 mins: This time Jesus does get the decision, as Koch shoves him from behind.

Free-kick to the Gunners, in a great position 25 yards out. White and Xhaka not impressed that a yellow card hasn’t been shown.

15:08 , Matt Verri

28 mins: Gabriel and Saliba seeing a lot of the ball, but Leeds then snapping into the challenges once it’s played into midfield.

Jesus drops deep to pick it up, skips past a couple of challenges and the stops claiming he’s been pulled back. Referee disagrees.

15:05 , Matt Verri

25 mins: Sinisterra free down the left for Leeds, drills the ball in at the near post. Rodrigo gets a good connection on it, hits Gabriel’s chest and behind for another corner.

Aaronson with a deep one, falls for Roca and his volley is a tame one.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

15:02 , Matt Verri

This feels like the kind of game Arsenal might have wilted in last season but after a dangerous spell of Leeds pressure the visitors are now on the front foot.

Arteta’s side now appear to be made of sterner stuff.

15:02 , Matt Verri

22 mins: It’s a great move from Arsenal, Martinelli plays a low cross into the box.

Xhaka dummies it, Odegaard misses it, falls to Jesus but he can’t find the far corner as he lifts the ball over Meslier.

15:01 , Matt Verri

21 mins: Sinisterra looks really bright on his return for Leeds. Shifts the ball onto his right, shots is deflected and flies just wide.

Corner whipped in, chaos in the Arsenal six yard-box before Ramsdale eventually gets something on it. Great save from close range.

14:59 , Matt Verri

19 mins: Martinelli drifts inside, finds Odegaard who is in space 25 yards out. He goes for goal, but it’s blocked... by Jesus.

Arsenal stay on the attack, cross whipped in to where Martinelli is free at the back post again but Meslier paws it away just in time.

14:57 , Matt Verri

17 mins: Kristensen with a brilliant flicked header at the back post, Martinelli was lining up a volley behind him.

Arsenal starting to get a bit more control now, pushing Leeds back into their own box. That is until White overhits a pass as he tries to slide in Odegaard.

14:54 , Matt Verri

14 mins: Ramsdale absolutely boots the ball at Gabriel, not sure what he was doing there. Arsenal lucky it doesn’t cost them.

Aaronson then wins a free-kick as he challenges Martinelli, big celebration from the American. Leeds right up for this.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

14:53 , Matt Verri

Leeds have started - or rather restarted - with the greater intensity and are looked pumped up for the occasion.

They are forcing Arsenal into mistakes, including a dreadful attempted clearance by Ramsdale.

14:52 , Matt Verri

12 mins: Saka’s first chance to run with the ball, gets to the byline and wins a corner for Arsenal. He’ll take it too.

Jesus wins the header, straight into the ground though and it bounces up for Meslier to comfortably claim.

14:50 , Matt Verri

10 mins: Rodrigo skips past a challenge, chops inside onto his left foot and past Tomiyasu in the box.

Played across the face of goal, ball bounces around a bit before it’s hacked clear by a defender. Gunners on the ropes here.

14:48 , Matt Verri

8 mins: Koch lobs a ball forward, White can only head it out for a throw-in deep in the Arsenal half.

Leeds have made a confident start... to the restart. Pressing up the pitch higher now, but Odegaard is strong on the ball and wins it back for the Gunners.

14:45 , Matt Verri

5 mins: Arsenal dominating possession on the whole, Leeds happy to let them have it at the back.

Hosts get it back and launch the ball over the top, Aaronson starts to set off after it but quickly realises he won’t be catching up.

14:43 , Matt Verri

3 mins: Sinisterra runs at the Arsenal defence, sloppy from the Gunners who allow him a lot of space on the edge of the box.

Shot dragged just wide, Ramsdale briefly looked slightly concerned.

Back underway!

14:41 , Matt Verri

We are up and running again. Just over a minute on the clock.

14:38 , Matt Verri

Referees warming up out on the touchline, not sure they’re getting a particularly warm reception from the Leeds fans over there.

Fourth official Michael Oliver having a laugh with Jesse Marsch, Mikel Arteta meanwhile is sitting down for pretty much the first time since he took over as Arsenal boss.

14:35 , Matt Verri

Another six or seven minutes of warm-ups will take place, before the match resumes.

That will take the delay to just over 40 minutes in all.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

14:33 , Matt Verri

The Leeds & Arsenal players are back out, and warming up again. The delay was over half-an-hour, long enough to potentially have a significant impact on the game.

Much could depend on which side stayed sharper and more focussed.

Players back out!

14:33 , Matt Verri

Ironic cheers from the crowd as the players emerge from the tunnel.

They’re going through their warm-ups again, so hopefully not too much longer until we’re back underway.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

14:27 , Matt Verri

The officials are back out at Elland Road and appearing to be checking the goalline technology. No sign of the teams yet.

14:20 , Matt Verri

A couple of Leeds substitutes are on the pitch knocking a ball around, but apart from that it’s a bit of a bizarre scene at Elland Road.

Music playing, crowd very quiet and a bit confused with the whole situation. No update yet on when play might get back underway.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

14:16 , Matt Verri

Play at Elland Road has been suspended due to a power cut. Both teams have returned to the changing rooms after only a couple of minutes play.

All systems related to the match went down and work is now under way to fix the problem. The energy crisis hitting football?

14:15 , Matt Verri

And play has been suspended for now.

The teams are heading back into the dressing rooms while they try and fix this. Imagine there will need to be a warm-up of sorts when it eventually is, so kick-off could be a fair way off.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

14:12 , Matt Verri

Confusion reigns at Elland Road where the game is paused for an unknown reason as fans chants, ‘What the hell is going on?’

There was the briefest of power cuts after a couple of minutes of play during which the WiFi went, so my guess is that the referee has lost contact with his assistants.

14:11 , Matt Verri

8 mins: The clock is ticking along, but nothing has happened. Referee still standing with his hands on his hips on the touchline.

We’re going to have loads of added-time at the end of this half. Watford recently had 17 minutes added on after a similar issue in one of their matches - hopefully that doesn’t get beaten here.

14:07 , Matt Verri

5 mins: And it’s stopped working again, seconds later.

Elland Road less than impressed at this delay. Referee is back over to the touchline, speaking to the managers. Both looking a bit perplexed at the situation.

Could be quite a lengthy delay here.

14:05 , Matt Verri

2 mins: Early break in play, referee’s communication equipment isn’t working. Can’t hear either the officials at the ground or those involved with VAR.

Looks like that is sorted - back underway.

KICK-OFF!

14:01 , Matt Verri

We are up and running at Elland Road!

13:58 , Matt Verri

Teams are out, met with a brilliant atmosphere as ever.

There’s been a fair few red cards in recent meetings between these two sides - both managers will be desperate to avoid that happening this afternoon!

Not long now!

13:54 , Matt Verri

Players will be out onto the pitch very shortly, conditions absolutely perfect.

Arsenal in good form, Leeds in poor form... everything pointing to a win for the visitors. Mikel Arteta will be warning his side against complacency though - plenty of sides have come unstuck at Elland Road.

Dan Kilpatrick at Elland Road

13:48 , Matt Verri

Ramsdale back in goal

13:42 , Matt Verri

Matt Turner was impressive in midweek as he started in Norway, keeping his second successive clean sheet.

But Aaron Ramsdale is the clear number one at Arsenal, with that not likely to change any time soon. The Englishman should be in the World Cup squad next month - he’ll be looking for a strong few weeks to make his case for the starting spot.

Marsch: Monumental task for Leeds

13:36 , Matt Verri

“Yeah probably [the biggest test of the season so far],” Marsh told Sky Sports.

“I think Arsenal are playing really well, I think their manager has done an outstanding job with them.

“They have a lot of big, talented young players, very dynamic and very clever with the way they play football.

“Our job will be to make it hard on them today. It’s a monumental task but we’re excited. These matches at Elland Road for us are alway a big opportunity.

Pre-match thoughts from Koch

13:29 , Matt Verri

Arteta expecting tough afternoon

13:23 , Matt Verri

Mikel Arteta knows his side will be tested at Elland Road, with the home crowd ensuring it will be an uncomfortable afternoon for the visitors.

“Last year it was incredible - even when we were winning 3-0 that crowd is something that I’ve never seen before, and you can sense that,” Arteta said in his pre-match press conference.

“Every time I watch them and I’ve seen some games already and you can hear the noise, so we know how it’s going to be.

“With Jesse and the teams that they have already played, it is very clear what he wants to do - be a really intense team, a really dynamic team and a really good team when there are spaces to attack.

“There’s some similarities [to Bielsa’s team] but every coach has his own book, but what Jesse has done over the time he has been there is really impressive.”

Jesus back for Gunners

13:06 , Matt Verri

Largely as expected from Arsenal, Jesus coming back into the side along with the likes of Martinelli, Xhaka and Partey who started the Bodo/Glimt match on the bench.

Big call from Arteta is that Tomiyasu starts at left-back, as he did a week ago against Liverpool. That means Tierney has to settle for a place on the bench.

Sinisterra returns from suspension to start for Leeds, while Rodrigo gets the nod to lead the line as Bamford is named among the substitutes.

12:53 , Matt Verri

Team news from Elland Road coming up in just over five minutes’ time.

Jesus expected to return for Arsenal after missing the Europa League match in midweek, but all will be revealed very shortly.

How it stands...

12:48 , Matt Verri

Arsenal sit top of the Premier League table, winning eight of their opening nine matches this season.

Victory for the Gunners would move them four points clear of Manchester City, who travel to Anfield to face Liverpool later this afternoon.

As for Leeds, they haven’t won in the league since beating Chelsea in August, a run that has left them down in 15th and just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Arsenal in the title race?

12:41 , Matt Verri

Let us begin with the caveat that now seems compulsory usage — almost nobody thinks, nor expects, that Arsenal will win the Premier League title this season, writes Malik Ouzia.

They have made a sensational start, among the best in Premier League history to this point, and sit deservedly atop the table. But no, if anyone asks, they cannot and will not stay there.

It is a given that at some point Manchester City will come swooping past, like a Tour de France sprinter, tucked in behind his lead-out man before charging clear up the Champs-Elysees, presumably powered by the thighs, and goals, of Erling Haaland.

Order will be restored and Arsenal, to repeat, will not win the Premier League. Except, what if they do?

David Seaman sitting firmly on the fence ahead off this afternoon’s match.

He supported Leeds as a boy and began his career there, before going on to have huge success in north London.

One of very few out there wanting a draw!

Odegaard confident Arsenal are here to stay

12:26 , Matt Verri

Martin Odegaard says Arsenal now have a “winning mentality”, as they go into this afternoon’s clash against Leeds on the brink of their best-ever start to a Premier League season.

The Gunners currently sit top of the table, a point clear of Manchester City, having won eight of their nine League matches so far this term, the sole defeat coming at Manchester United.

A win at Elland Road would take Arsenal’s tally to 27 points after 10 games, surpassing the club-record 26 they had accrued by the same stage of the 2007-08 season.

Speaking after Thursday night’s 1-0 win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League group stage, which also made it a perfect three out of three in that competition, Odegaard insisted the club’s sensational start can be maintained.

“We know the quality we have and we know the mindset we have now,” Odegaard said. “Everyone is ready for every game, for every action, and that’s what we wanted.”

Perfect afternoon for it!

12:17 , Matt Verri

Ideal conditions at Elland Road, with less than two hours to go until kick-off.

The Gunners cruised to a 4-1 win last time they were here, back in December last year. In fact Arsenal have not lost to Leeds in the last 12 matches between the sides, a run stretching back to 2003.

Probably won’t be in Marsch’s team-talk.

Gabriel: I have big ambitions at Arsenal

12:09 , Matt Verri

Gabriel has spoken of how at home he and his family feel at Arsenal, as he looks to play his part in Arsenal contending for major trophies.

The Brazilian has formed an incredibly impressive partnership with William Salbia in defence, with the Gunners now in a stronger place than at any time since the centre-back joined in 2020.

“I’ve learnt so much since I got here and over the last two seasons,” Gabriel told the club’s official website.

“I knew about the situation that the club was in when I joined, which wasn’t the best, but ever since first wearing this jersey, I’ve had ambitions – big ambitions.

“I have the desire to win trophies here at Arsenal and leave my mark on a club that welcomed me as much as possible. It’s a club that I love and that my family loves. There are certainly big ambitions here.”

Prediction

12:02 , Matt Verri

The home side will make life difficult for Arsenal with their energy but Arteta’s lethal attackers will fancy their chances of exploiting space.

The Gunners arrive with maximum confidence and look set to extend their flying run of form.

Arsenal to win, 3-1.

Arsenal team news

11:56 , Matt Verri

For Arsenal, Oleksandr Zinchenko is a doubt but Gabriel Jesus should return after sitting out Thursday’s win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League.

Mikel Arteta has a decision to make at left-back should Zinchenko be absent, with Takehiro Tomiyasu impressing against Mohamed Salah last week while Kieran Tierney started on Thursday night in the Europa League.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka should come back into the side after starting on the bench in Europe, along with Gabriel Martinelli in what is a settled first-choice front three for the Gunners.

Emile Smith Rowe (groin) and Mohamed Elneny (hamstring) are long-term absentees.

Junior Firpo could be available for the home side after missing the loss to Crystal Palace but Adam Forshaw, Leo Hjelde and Archie Gray will continue to miss out.

Having started on the bench last weekend, there may be a starting berth for Diego Llorente. Luis Sinisterra returns from suspension.

“Leo recovered well from his appendectomy but not available for a week or so. Adam is eight days out, Archie on the pitch but not available. Stuart [Dallas] is making good progress. Everyone else is fit and healthy,” confirmed Leeds boss Jesse Marsch.
