Leaked: The Ballon d’Or top-3

The final podium rankings for the 2024 Ballon d’Or have on Monday been leaked online.

This, of course, comes amid an afternoon which has seen the ‘Golden Ball’ dominate the headlines across the world of football.

After it was previously considered nothing short of a certainty that Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. was set to clinch the prize, widespread confirmation was forthcoming that this will not prove the case.

Instead, Manchester City midfielder Rodri is now seen as the odds-on favourite to lift the prize.

Reigning Spanish and European champions Real Madrid, as a result, have already made public their plans to skip tonight’s ceremony in Paris.

And as much will mean the players sitting both 2nd and 3rd in the final Ballon d’Or standings being absent.
