Leaders, weather, how to watch Sunday’s final round of Open Championship at Royal Troon

Five things to know about Sunday’s final round of the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club:

Who’s winning?

Billy Horschel started Saturday five shots behind leader (and 2017 Open champion) Shane Lowry but shot a 2-under par 69 highlighted by seven straight pars to take the lead at 4-under 209.

Six players are a shot back at 3-under: Englishman Daniel Brown, whose closing double-bogey for 73 cost him the lead; 2013 U.S. Open champion Justin Rose (73); Thriston Lawrence and Sam Burns (both 65); Russell Henley (66); and Xander Schauffele (69). Lowry’s disastrous 77 left him at 1-under, a shot behind world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler at 2-under (71).

Shot of the week: Si Woo Kim hole-in-one

Si Woo Kim arrived at Royal Troon’s par-3, 245-yard 17th hole in a better mood than for most of his round, after a birdie at the par-5 16th got his score for Saturday to 2-over par. His mood elevated considerably after Kim made the first hole-in-one of the 152nd Open Championship.

“My caddie told me you’d better hit hard with a 3-iron,” Kim said. “So I did, and as soon as I contact (it) good, I see the ball (go) over the fringe,” he said. “(Then) people (are) yelling at me like I didn’t realize the ball goes in.”

In fact, he didn’t see it, but then heard the unmistakable “ace” roar from the crowd.

“It was amazing,” he said. “I had plenty of holes-in-one in my life. Maybe over 10 times, at tournaments like six to eight times, but I think this is the most memorable hole-in-one ... because it is (the first in) a major and the Open.

“I think that’s the best shot I’ve ever had … this week,” he said, laughing. He finished even-par Saturday and 5-over for the tournament.
