Le Havre targeting a loan move for Starsbourg’s Junior Mwanga

According to L’Équipe, Le Havre are aiming to complete a loan move that would see Junior Mwanga (21) arrive from Strasbourg until the end of the season. The former Bordeaux defender has been earmarked for a potential departure from the Racing club this winter.

Despite Le Havre showing an interest in Mwanga, the Ligue 1 club must sell players before they are able to register any new additions in the January transfer window. Le Ciel et Marine want to reinforce their defence and midfield – the 21-year-old’s versatility fits with these requirements.

Outgoings at Strasbourg

Mwanga would not be the only outgoing in defence at the Alsace club if he were to leave on loan before the end of the window. His teammate, Saïdou Sow (22), also looks set to leave the club on loan. Strasbourg has reached an agreement that will see the Guinean defender join Nantes on loan until the end of the season.
