How Lazio plan to replace club hero Ciro Immobile

Serie A side Lazio seem all but set to lose Ciro Immobile, who seems set to join Turkish giants Besiktas and it would be the end of an era for the Italian.

Losing an iconic figure comes at a cost but Lazio are trying to replace him. Alfredo Pedulla has reported that the dream replacement happens to be Mason Greenwood, for whom reservations have emerged at Marseille but they are still trying to resolve those issues. Lazio remain in the running and are keeping an eye on the situation.

A final decision about the saga is likely to arrive by the weekend but Lazio will continue to push and find ways to potentially seek an agreement with United and offering more money to the Red Devils can definitely prove to be the key pointer, as it would blow the competition out of the water.

Options like Boulaye Dia and Giovanni Simeone are very much available but Claudio Lotito prefers signing a wide forward like Greenwood and that is why the Englishman is the priority.
