Lazio & Manchester United Lead Europa League Prize Money – Figures Revealed
Lazio aren’t only leading the Europa League group stage table, but also the competition’s prize money charts, with Manchester United right behind.
Sensational European Form
The Biancocelesti have been almost flawless on the continent this season. Despite a relatively tough draw, they have managed to beat big names like Porto, Ajax and most recently Real Sociedad to consolidate themselves as the ultimate leaders of the 36-team table and directly qualify for the Round of 16 with a match to spare.

Moreover, Football Meets Data revealed that the Italian capital side’s Europa League earnings have already exceeded €21 million. Lazio have been able to rely on a decent European coefficient (€2.2M) and a solid market pool (€6.7m) to begin with, but it’s their results on the pitch that saw them rise to the top spot, as they managed to win six out of their seven contests thus far.

Manchester United are right behind Lazio in second place. The Red Devils have a bigger coefficient and market pool than the Aquile, but their results haven’t been as impressive, albeit they sit in a solid fourth place in the table. They’re currently just shy of €20 million.
The Rest of the Table
Eintracht Frankfurt (€19.3m) are third in the money table, while Tottenham Hotspur (€18.6m) and Galatasaray (€17.5m) complete the Top 5. Moreover, Lazio’s arch-rivals Roma are currently eighth with €16.5 million, although their status in the competition is much more dire, as they sit in the 21st spot so they will likely need a positive result against Frankfurt next week to avoid an early elimination.
