Yahoo Sports Lazio interested in Aston Villa and Leipzig target Tidiam Gomis
According to a report from L’Équipe, SM Caen’s Tidiam Gomis (18) is attracting a lot of interest from across Europe.
The flexible forward who can play across the front three has seen a lot of game time this season for the northern side having made 19 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and registering two assists.
An international in the underage brackets for France, it looks certain that Gomis will leave his formative club before the end of his contract in 2025. Aston Villa have acted fast in making contact with their French counterparts.
However, they are far from the only team interested. L’Équipe writes that RB Leipzig could very quickly prepare an offer, while Lazio are also thought be considering the teenager.
Tidiam Gomis attracts interest in France
While France is also not immune to his charms, the outlet writes that Olympique de Marseille could yet play a part in the race. Over the summer, the southern club were looking very closely at the forward. However, it remains to be seen whether they will enter the fray.
