The Haason Reddick holdout drama with the New York Jets took another turn on Tuesday.

Now that he has a new agent, there was some buzz that maybe he'd work out a contract with the team. But on Tuesday morning? It was reported that the pass rusher got permission to seek a trade, which might interest a team looking for a pass rusher (hello, Detroit Lions?).

There's just one not-so-tiny detail that emerged, per Josina Anderson, who reported that the Philadelphia Eagles will get a 2026 second-rounder from the Jets if they deal Reddick to an NFC team.

That would probably mean that the Jets wouldn't want to make a deal involving an NFC team, right? We'll see.
