‘Last full business week’ – Giulia Bould shares when Everton takeover could be finally announced

Everton will be under new ownership sometime this month, but no one knows when the official announcement will be made.

According to BBC Radio journalist Giulia Bould, the initial time frame that was proposed is already over, and the Premier League does not have any timeline for this process.

She suggests that since next week is the last working week in Britain before the festive period takes over, in all probability, the official confirmation could arrive before Christmas.

Bould also adds that it is pure guesswork, and it could be sooner or later.

Everton sale nearing completion

Unless there’s a dramatic change of events, the Friedkins will take complete charge of the club this month.

The American owners have already agreed a deal to buy Farhad Moshiri’s 94.1% shares, and only the official green signal is left.

They are wealthy owners and have a transparent business, unlike the 777 Group. There will be no problems with proof of funds, and there is a strong belief that the takeover will be completed before the end of this month.

Everton fans will be praying for no further delays, as they want to see the new owners pumping money into the side in the January transfer window and help Sean Dyche bring in a few good players.

The Toffees have struggled financially in the past few years, and the club saw points deducted twice by the Premier League for breaching the rules.

Dyche has done a good job so far, but he cannot take the club forward without proper investments.

Everton are once again fighting for survival in the Premier League, and Dyche could come under a lot of pressure if the results do not improve.

The Toffees are 15th in the table and will face Arsenal next on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.
