“I feel like we really have fun together and we work well together, and we both motivate each other,” Pippen added.

“And I feel like that's really hard to do because I've never had that before. ... We are glued at the hip, and we're just really enjoying ourselves, and I feel like people should just embrace love,” she continued. “If you're in a good place, and you're happy, people should embrace that and cheer for people that are in love.”

The couple is also working in tandem to make the holiday season perfect. They told PEOPLE at the DIRECTV Celebrates Christmas at Kathy's last month that they are planning to spend the holidays in Los Angeles and will be splitting cooking duties.

"Marcus is gonna start baking dessert. I normally cook and I feel like he likes dessert,” the mother of four said while jokingly noting that he needed to “start baking.”

“I can cook but I choose to let the cooks do the cooking,” Jordan added, noting that he’s “providing the wine” and “beverages.”

Pippen is mom to daughter Sophia, 15, and sons Justin, 18, Preston, 21, and Scotty Jr., 23. For the holidays, she says the four will split their time between her and ex Scottie Pippen.

"I feel like my kids are older, so they get to enjoy their time with their dad. And they get to enjoy their time with us," she said. "My kids are so happy. They're lucky to have both great parents. And it's fun."
