Coventry City had to face a tense penalty shoot-out to overcome Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup on Saturday after match ended 1-1.

The Sky Blues scored four to sail through to the fourth round and while going to penalties is often a dreaded outcome, striker Norman Bassette was unfazed by the pressure of taking a spot-kick.

"In my head, I am 100%," Bassette told BBC Radio CWR. "I score for the fans and for the team. No pressure, I'm a striker."

Bassette was the last to step up to the spot for the West Midlands side and after scoring, saw Owls forward Olaf Kobacki's effort saved by a diving Oliver Dovin.

The Belgian has played in every match under new boss Frank Lampard and it is the head coach's belief in him that has the striker feeling positive.

"The team has good potential and the new staff that has come is better than before," Bassette added.

"I don't have a negative feeling, I have a good feeling for the future.

"The new gaffer has confidence in me and I have good confidence in the new staff always. Every time I walk on this pitch, I work hard and I'm very happy."
