🎥 When Lamine Yamal held hands with Sergio Ramos 🤝
Lamine Yamal made history on Tuesday when he starred in Spain’s EURO 2024 semi-final victory over France.
At 16 years and 362 days, Yamal became the youngest player to appear in a World Cup or Euro semi-final, surpassing a record previously held by Brazilian legend Pele.
And the youngster’s brilliant equalising goal in his side’s 2-1 win also saw him become the youngest goalscorer in European Championship history, among a number of other firsts.

It’s crazy to think that only a few years ago he was still just a kid, as this footage of him holding hands with former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos reminds us.

The tunnel footage comes from a Clásico fixture in April 2016, when Yamal was still just nine, but was already at Barcelona’s academy.
Little did Ramos know at the time, that the young boy he was holding hands with would go on to be a shining star of Spanish football. Life comes at you fast.
It’s almost as crazy as this photo of Lionel Messi giving baby Yamal a bath.
