Kylian Mbappé’s father buys 100+ Real Madrid jerseys

The father of new Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappé was on Wednesday responsible for a head-turning purchase at the club’s official store.

This, of course, comes fresh off frontman Mbappé at long last being unveiled as Los Blancos’ latest signing on Wednesday.

With Euro 2024 having now come to a close, ‘Mbappé fever’ has kicked fully into gear in Spain’s capital.

The 25-year-old took his place in front of the adoring Real Madrid faithful a little over 24 hours ago, before responding to the expectant media’s inevitable wave of questions surrounding his decision to make the move to the Santiago Bernabéu.

And, as alluded to above, on Wednesday, the attacker’s father could not help but get swept up in the excitement.

As revealed by Jose Padilla, an official journalist for Real Madrid:

‘Mbappé’s father today bought over 100 Real Madrid shirts with his son’s number and name in the official Bernabéu store!’
