Kyle Lowry's mom showed up in Raptors gear to watch their win over the Sixers

While the Toronto Raptors enjoyed their win against the 76ers at Wells Fargo Center, thanks to Fred VanVleet’s clutch shot, the team also had a special guest in attendance.

None other than Kyle Lowry’s mother, Marie Hollaway, showed up in full Raptors gear to watch Toronto beat Philly on Thursday night.

A resident of Philadelphia, Hollaway has been a devoted fan and continued to show her support for the franchise, despite the fact that Lowry, who spent nine years in Toronto, is now with the Miami Heat.

She even took a selfie at the game wearing Raptors merch and a mask in the team's colours.

Hollaway has also shown her support for another former Raptors player in DeMar DeRozan, whom she affectionately called her “west coast son,” when the Chicago Bulls faced off against the 76ers at home on Nov. 3.

Although the Lowry era in Toronto has ended, it’s clear that he and his family will forever be synonymous with the franchise. Lowry has also reiterated his intention to retire as a Toronto Raptor when his career comes to an end.
