Kyle Lowry passes Chris Bosh for 2nd on Raptors' all-time scoring list

Kyle Lowry was already the greatest player in team history, now he's one step closer to securing another key accolade in his decorated career.

With this three-pointer Wednesday versus the Atlanta Hawks, Lowry secured his 10,278th point as a Raptor and passed 2021 Hall Of Fame finalist Chris Bosh for second on the franchise's all-time scoring list.

Lowry now sits only behind — albeit well back of — DeMar DeRozan for the franchise mark. DeRozan dropped 13,296 in a Raptors uniform before he was dealt to the Spurs as part of the Kawhi Leonard deal in the offseason of 2018.

A solid 3,000 points behind his good buddy, Lowry needs 2-3 more highly productive seasons in Toronto to challenge for that top spot.

A nice, lucrative three-year extension to assure Lowry plays out his final campaigns in a Raptors sweater would go a long way to helping that cause, wouldn't it?
