In the 66th playoff game of his career as a Toronto Raptor, Kyle Lowry has made franchise history.

Entering Game 5 of the East Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night just eight points behind DeMar DeRozan’s total of 1,117, the 33-year-old hit a game-tying three in the second quarter to take the franchise lead from his old friend.

While the mark was probably the least of Lowry’s worries during the biggest playoff game in team history, it isn’t the worst thing for the guy to add to his resume.

In fact, you could say that the achievement is almost as good as getting some love from this NBA and Twitter legend after Game 4.

Lowry finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists in Toronto’s 105-99 victory over Milwaukee on Thursday night to help the Raptors take a 3-2 advantage in the series.
