Kvaratskhelia: Napoli draw up plans for new contract

Napoli will meet with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and his entourage in the coming weeks to set up a new contract, having planned out a long-term deal.

The 23-year-old Georgian winger has decided to move forward with the Partenopei following the arrival of Antonio Conte, having settled again in the Campania capital after his brief wobble earlier this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain emerged with serious interest in Kvaratskhelia, and he was seemingly open to a move, which would’ve carried a huge pay rise, but conversations with Conte convinced him to move forward with Napoli, who are now keen to reward him with a new deal.

The Partenopei have already planned out a new five-year deal with a starting salary of €5m net per season plus add-ons that’ll rise to over €7m net across the years.
