KU men’s basketball learns 2024-25 Big 12 hoops schedule. Here are the opponents

The Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team finally knows its Big 12 Conference opponents for the 2024-25 season.

The league released the scheduling matrix on Thursday, and — like the rest of the Big 12’s teams — the Jayhawks will play 20 league games this year.

That means KU will play five opponents at home and on the road, five only at home and five only on the road. Specific dates and times, alongside television details, will be announced later.

The conference season will begin in late December. According to the release, opponents were selected based on a combination of geography, historical results and a poll of coaches to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness.

The full schedule of KU’s opponents will be released at a later date.

Here’s a look at who Kansas will play:

  • Home and away: UCF, Colorado, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas State

  • Home only: Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, West Virginia

  • Away only: Baylor, BYU, Cincinnati, TCU, Utah.
