Kraken Sled Team Ready For Rematch Against Pacific Division Rivals in Seattle

The Seattle Kraken Sled Team is thrilled to announce a highly anticipated Pacific Division rematch against the British Columbia Sportability Club on Sunday, February 2nd, at the Kraken Community Iceplex’s Smartsheet Rink.

After a hard-fought defeat to B.C. in their previous matchup, the Kraken sled team is eager for redemption and aims to improve their season standing. With an impressive 8 wins and 4 losses, the team has shown great resilience, including back-to-back second-place finishes in recent tournaments. At the NHL Sled Classic, they narrowly lost to the Buffalo Sabres Sled Team in the championship game, and at the Rocky Mountain Mayhem Tournament, they fell to the Tampa Bay Lightning 1-0 in the finals—marking the only loss of the entire tournament.

General Manager Thom Youngblood is excited about the team’s progress, saying, "I am so proud of how far the team has come this season. Their hard work and dedication are truly paying off."

Fans are encouraged to join the action on February 2nd. Tickets are available for $15, either at the complex on game day or through the team’s Eventbrite page. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:30 PM.
