Kraken Retire The Davy Jones Hat.

New season, new winning tradition! The Seattle Kraken have retired the weathered, pirate-inspired Davy Jones hat, once awarded to the player whose contributions led to significant milestones, game victories, or special moments. In its place, a striking, rustic-colored wrestling belt takes, adorned with the Kraken's logo and flanked by anchors on each side.

The newest captain, Jordan Eberle, was the first recipient of the belt following a stellar performance in Saturday night’s game against the Wild in Minnesota. Eberle scored two goals, including the game-winning point in the overtime shootout. His first goal of the game marked his 300th career goal in the NHL.

The Davy Jones hat debuted during the Kraken's inaugural season and was inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean and Kraken co-owner Jerry Bruckheimer. Fans grew to love the oversized, barnacle-crusted hat that paired perfectly with the team's seafaring theme. What do you think of the upgrade?
